The airn of this research is tu measure job satisfaction and its effective factors among social workers in the city of Tehran. In order to achieve this goal, 134 social workers employed in the Ministry of Health. and Welfare Organization in the Ministry of Social Welfare, were studied. The result indicated that: Most social workers were moderately satisfied with their jobs. Job satisfaction of social workers was related to their marital status. Job satisfaction of social workers had a negative relation to their age. Joh satisfaction of social workers was not related to their level of education. Job satisfaction of social workers had a meaningful negative relation 10 their working experience. Job satisfaction of social workers had no relation to the kind of agent')' they were employed in. Using the result of a factor analysis, factors of job satisfaction questionnaire were divided to six factors including: Nature of the work, job promotion, management, salary and privileges, working conditions. and staff relationships. Then the portion of each factor was clarified in the job satisfaction of social workers.

This study investigates the effects of social capital on the job salisfaction of Tabriz primary schools teachers. Social capital and job satisfaction arc important in social welfare development. A random sample or 350 teachers were selected. Data was collected by means of questionnaire. For the measurement of social capital Bullen and Onyx social capital scale, and for the measurement job satisfaction Bright Feld scale was used. Findings show that the social capital significantly influences the job satisfaction or teachers. There was no meaningful difference between females and males, in this regard. The regression analysi» of the social capital indicators on the rate of joh satisfaction shows that the indicators concerning the objective dimension of social capital has the highest effect upon juh satisfaction. Generally, indicators or social capital explained 16 percent of variance of job satisfaction.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the economical, social and demographical factors inflouncy job satisfaction of local journalists were interviewed. The sample size was N= 135. Based on the Blau and Fischler theorise, 15 hypotheses were deducted. The findings showed that 11 Variables explained the job sausfaction of Journalists. Finally seven variables entered in to the rcgrcssin equation. The result shows that the type of newspaper, professional condition of Journals, goal attainment, censorship and politition condition, social behaviour of citizenship, the place of publication's newspaper and the Journalist's gender impact on job satisfaction. The grund correlation was 0.51.

This study was conducted to determine the current job satisfaction level of the elementary school teachers in Tehran. The method of the study was survey research, and the data was collected by a questionnaire. A modified version of the Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ) was used. The sample included 400 elementary school teachers in district 1,11, and 16 of Tehran. A combination of systematic and cluster sampling was used. The results achieved in this research were as follows: 88.7% of the elementary school teachers surveyed indicated that they were either satisfied or very satisfied with their jobs, while 3.6% were dissatisfied or very dissatisfied. 7.7% indicated no opinion or no response. Of the 20 aspects of work measured by the MSQ, teachers only indicated dissatisfaction with the activity area. The two demographic variables of educational degree and teacher's intent to remain in the current position were found to be predictors of job satisfacion for teachers. The type of management, the level of achievement, relation with coleagucs, and working conditions were most related to the teachers' level of job satisfaction. On the centrory, teachers were least satisfied with the areas which included activity, moral values and the level of autonomy.
